First off, welcome to my humble blog and thank you for taking the time to read this.
I thought I'd start off by telling you a little about myself and why I felt the need to share my stories with you.
I am just a girl in her late twenties trying to find a way to truly love herself and explore different ways to do so. I've always had issues with my weight since I was little and tried countless fad diets to shed a few (ok, maybe more than just a few) pounds. I've had my ups and downs through it all but I wouldn't take back all the failures I've had because they all taught me lessons and led me to this point of my life.
I have realized that losing weight is really about loving yourself and it should not be for anyone else BUT yourself. It is about eating clean and just breaking a sweat everyday in anyway you can and staying active.
I've always treated food as something that just tastes good, something that I can indulge in whether I was hungry or not. I was snacking on bad food and would get hungry again soon because I wasn't fueling my body with the right stuff. I would work out to compensate for all the bad food I ate that day but it was never enough.
I eventually got tired of not feeling happy about how I looked and decided to do something about it.
I am nowhere near where I want to be yet, but everyone has to start somewhere right?
This is where you come into play. I want you to join my journey and see the progresses I make along the way and just encourage me and motivate me (maybe even give me some pointers). I am hoping in doing so, I get to help others that are struggling with the same issue and show them how us average Joe's can live a healthy lifestyle.
Anyway, I'm going to stop here because we have a long way to go and I don't want to tire you out already with my rambling, so thank you so much for stopping by and stay tuned!
Cheers,
J Bae
